Splat the Cat with a Bang and a Clang

The book, Splat the Cat with a Bang and a Clang is about a cat named Splat who goes to watch his friends play in a band. After they perform they all agree they want Splat to join and try and find the right instrument for him to play. Although unsuccessful for a while when Splat decides to dance and fall over, he find the perfect instrument to play, a paint can with a wrench. The group performs and with the help of Splat become a hit. The book emphasizes the idea of being patient and willing to try different things for the product to be its best. For students, this concept works in understanding to take things with a different approach if something doesn’t work and to keep persevering till the correct sound is achieved.
