The Eensy-Weensy Spider is written by Mary Ann Hoberman and illustrated by Nadine Bernard Wescott. It is an adaptation of the nursery rhyme "The Eensy Weensy Spider." It tells the tale of the spider's friends he encounters along the way down the spout. The adorable illustrations are a terrific addition to the nursery rhyme. It would be a fun book to incorporate with the song sung in class. Students would be engaged and interested in the spider's journey after singing the song about him.
