Quinten Breach - We Three Kings

Known as a traditional holiday tune within the Christian church, We Three Kings was created with illustrations by Gennady Spirin. The historical background is that of the time at Jesus Christ’s birth in Bethlehem. Due to overcrowding in the city’s inn, Joseph and Mary spent the evening in a nearby stable. During their “stay,” Mary gave birth to Christ during the late evening, and a star was shown in the sky to signal the creation of the Savior. These Three Wise Man riding outside the city had noticed the vibrant star and were met by an angel that told them to visit this “new King of Bethlehem” at once. They obeyed and entered the city to find Jesus and gave Him gifts and presents of gratitude. All in all, the idea of the book is to introduce younger forms of children to the song that called these men to meet Jesus Christ that one night so long ago.
