Nina Crews' The Neighborhood Sing-Along is a very easy read, suitable for kindergarten general music teachers and their classes. The book is a collection of nursery rhyme lyrics that are accompanied by pictures of the neighborhood kids doing actions that correlate to the nursery rhyme. It is a fun book that the kids will probably know the melodies to, so it well help them stay engaged if they sing along. I also like how they include kids of all colors in the book because I believe it is important for children to see themselves represented in the literature and media they are exposed to at an early age, although the book could do more to include disabled children in the book.
