I See a Song: Austin Coe
I See a Song by Eric Carle is a fun , inventive book that teaches children about different shapes and colors through musical terms and ideas. There are no words after the introduction. These leaves it up to have their own interpretation of the what the story is about. This helps inspire creativity in students. This book would be a great opportunity for younger students to start coming up with their own assumptions and helping teach analysis. This would also be good for very young students when you want to start introducing colors, patterns, and music to them. Any student that loves picture books would be more than happy to read this.
