This book provides a handful of crafts relating to music along with descriptions of what the craft represents. There are two pages of information per craft that give instructions on how to make the craft. To the side, there are a couple paragraphs that describe what the craft represents in much more detail. The short paragraphs provide concise information that would be great for young music students to read in order to aid their learning. An example of one of the crafts is how to make two different types of maracas. Each page has colorful illustrations and pictures to help show what the written directions are saying. Most of the crafts seem manageable to make and would allow kids to participate in a hands-on activity that allows them to connect a physical object with a musical concept.
