Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Musical Genius
By Stewart Ross
This biography of Mozart (a famous composer) contains twenty one sections, ranging from his childhood to his legacy. It is a friendly-looking hardback book with a few pictures on each page. If a student ever wanted to know more about Mozart, I would give them this. The book could also be used section by section, since each is only two pages long. A teacher could pick a vocabulary word from the book that they wanted their students to learn, and then have the students see if they could define the word for themselves using context clues. I think this book is a bit too long and dry to be read to a class in one sitting.
