Miranda Molina - Wolferl by Lisl Weil

Wolferl: The first six years in the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart by Lisl Weil is an excellent book for very young children. This story line focuses on the childhood of a young Mozart and refers to him by his nickname Wolferl for young readers to relate to. With colorful illustrations, the book describes what it was like for Wolferl and his sister, Nannerl, growing up in Salzburg, Vienna. Wolferl is depicted as a fun-loving child that loves music and tends to be mischievous, just like many children who may read this book. This is excellent for very young readers because the author makes the childhood of W.A.Mozart very relatable, and provides illustrations and a glossary for the reader’s convenience.
