Miranda Molina - Johannes Brahms by D. Getzinger and D. Felsenfeld

Johannes Brahms and the Twilight of Romanticism by Donna Getzinger and Daniel Felsenfeld is a slightly more advanced book for younger readers that takes a deep look into the life of Johannes Brahms. Each chapter of this short book summarizes a different major part of Brahms’; where he lived, what he was doing, and the people he was meeting. It also gives some details into the lives of other composers Brahms was meeting or was associated with such as W.A. Mozart, Clara and Robert Schumann, and Franz Liszt. This book is great for young readers at a slightly advanced reading level who’d like to learn more about this famous composer. The text within the book is in a good, large font, the book is a small height and width, and there are excellent illustrations and pictures pertaining to Brahms on every page.
